MSC Poesia Returns to Caribbean for Winter
MSC Cruises’ MSC Poesia is finishing its inaugural Canada/New England season and will depart Quebec City on Oct. 23 for its nine-night repositioning cruise to Fort Lauderdale. Upon its return to Fort Lauderdale on Nov. 1, MSC Poesia begins three-, seven- and 10-night roundtrip Caribbean cruises.
The 10-night “Remarkable Rainforest & the Panama Canal” cruise departs Nov. 1 and calls at Cozumel, Mexico; Puerto Limon, Costa Rica; Cristobal, Panama; Cartagena, Colombia; and Montego Bay, Jamaica. The three-night “Tropical Getaway” departing Nov. 11 will call at Coco Cay and Nassau, Bahamas.
Alternating seven-night Eastern and Western Caribbean cruises operate through Feb. 27. “Western Caribbean Wonders” calls at Key West, Ocho Rios, Grand Cayman and Cozumel. “Eastern Caribbean Enchantment” cruises call at St. Thomas, St. Maarten and Nassau.
Major League Baseball cruises are featured on several MSC sailings this season and include a player-hosted trivia game, question-and-answer session, guest pitching contest, and a story-telling session. Players also will host skills clinics and participate in a free autograph session. “Baseball Greats” will be featured on the Nov. 14, Jan. 9, Jan. 23 and Feb. 6 Eastern Caribbean cruises and the Dec. 5 Western Caribbean cruise.
MSC Poesia’s Caribbean cruise season will end when it departs March 6 on a 17-night trans-Atlantic cruise to San Juan; Antigua; St. Lucia; Funchal, Portugal; Malaga, Spain; Alicante, Spain; Barcelona, Spain; and Genoa, Italy.
